Occupying Cyberspace

Those who wish to advocate for change must author their own cyberspace, as opposed to complying to the mass, corporate data pools. Technology has become immensely user friendly and intuitive, to the extent where the user need not understand it to effectively use it. As we stray from the comprehension of the way present technology functions, we stray from comprehending the way we as humans function. Technology’s rapid progression leaves its users in the dust of its own complexity, unaware of its effects until they are in process. The personal data of this generation has been collected and utilized for almost as long as they’ve been conscious. Cyberspace and reality are two systems in dialogue, each having immense cultural impact on the other. Cyberfeminism and post-cyberfeminism are more important than ever in this age. We need these ideologies to expose, educate, and guide as we dismantle big daddy mainframe.
